A friendly school of fish swims by
and whales sing a beautiful song
One sense rules all
In a not so silent sea
Lurking below the surface
A cacophony of noise
A day of infamy
In a not so silent sea
Every animal has a voice
a soul
a song
In a not so silent sea
Whales harmonies destroyed
We are Heirs to Our Oceans
Proud to be entrusted
To make a change in the world
Awestruck by experts
I am inspired
To use every part of myself
To represent voices unheard
In a not so silent sea
I dream of a life-filled ocean
full of mesmerizing creatures of the deep
Saltwater touching the tip of my tongue
a peaceful ocean
in my hands
We are Heirs to Our Oceans
We will make a stand
We will use our voices
We will sing our songs
In a not so silent sea
We cannot stay silent
With the world as our classroom
We can be the change we want to see
To our heirs
We will leave a beautiful whale song
Oceans healed
One sense rules all by
In a not so silent sea.
