Bridget is an early-career marine conservationist from Edinburgh, Scotland, with a BSc (Hons) in Ecological and Environmental Sciences from the University of Edinburgh.

Her interest in marine conservation grew from witnessing environmental change along Scotland’s coast and wanting to better understand how science can drive meaningful action.

Through Young Sea Changers Scotland, she contributes to marine policy advocacy and works alongside young people to bring youth perspectives into ocean decision-making.

She is passionate about bridging gaps between scientific and local knowledge to inform policy so the ocean is protected through decisions grounded in diverse perspectives and informed by both knowledge and lived experience.
