Originally from Moscow, Russia, Liliana has experienced climate impacts that negatively affected her community.
From Moscow to Bay Area, where she has lived for the past decade, climate change induced wildfires have motivated her to lead various sustainability initiatives in her community, and spearheaded the introduction of a Climate Redtoration Resolution into Congress (H.Con.Res.46 119th Session).
Liliana was a part of the 5th cohort of the U.S. Youth Action Council for the UN Ocean Decade as a Policy Working Group Committee Member, and is now serving as a Support Team member for the 6th Cohort.
Currently, Liliana is a freshman at Stanford University where she studies Public Policy and Earth Systems, with aspirations of attending law school after undergrad.
