SUMMIT FOR EMPOWERMENT ACTION & LEADERSHIP (SEAL)
SEAL IS LIFE-CHANGING AND DEEPLY CONNECTING
H2OO’s Summit for Empowerment, Action & Leadership (SEAL) is a two-week in-person education, empowerment and connection intensive where international youth learn from one another and experts. In and with our natural environment, we support youth in collaborating on solutions to the greatest challenges their generation faces.
At SEAL the participants prepare themselves to be future world leaders, as they learn to overcome barriers that otherwise might divide rather than connect. Regardless of conflicts that arise during the program period, they all leave “a family”, stay in contact, and move on in their respective journeys deeply inspired and with a new sense of empathy for others.
SEAL is hosted each summer in a community where youth can live and learn in close connection with one another amidst our most precious natural resources. To date, SEAL has occurred in Palau, Northern California, Hawai‘i, and, due to COVID, once virtually in 2020.

WILD EXPLORATIONS HAS WRAPPED!
June 25 – July 7
South Warner River Wilderness, Northern California
At SEAL 2024, a group of 10 young men aged 16-23 embarked on an 11-day adventure through the South Warner Wilderness in Northern California. They connected deeply with nature and each other, experiencing the challenges and beauty of living in the wild as a diverse team.
Participants hailed from diverse locations around the world, including New Zealand, Los Angeles U.S., Spain, and Tinian Island in the CNMI, each bringing their unique perspectives and experiences to the program.
We were able to provide need-based scholarships to ALL the participants this year thanks to our supporters.

SEAL “SUMMIT ON THE SUMMIT” 2022 WAS A SUCESS!
H2OO’s SEAL 2022 “Summit on the Summit” took place in the Trinity Alps in California, U.S. SEAL brought together a select group of youth leaders from around the world to spend 10 days backpacking through the Northern California mountains while developing survival skills, connecting with nature, learning from each other, and processing solutions to environmental and humanitarian crises they are inheriting.

It is imperative that all youth are provided opportunities to learn about real-world challenges, that they all have an opportunity to share concerns, experiences, and perspectives, that they all develop essential skills to manage what they are inheriting, and that they all have an opportunity to connect with youth of diverse backgrounds to process solutions and mobilize as a global community of future empathetic leaders.
With the help of our community 9 out of 10 SEAL participants are fully scholarshipped.
