OUR PROGRAMS ARE COMPREHENSIVE, HOLISTIC AND INFORMED BY YOUTH
Our programs represent the way in which we partner with and serve youth. Each program has evolved from solutions created by youth leadership to meet the ever-evolving needs of youth globally. All programming is focused on collaboration across a diverse spectrum of socio-economic backgrounds and communities. By doing so, youth create effective and actionable solutions to the humanitarian and environmental crises they face. Heirs to Our Ocean’s (H2OO) programming is holistic, caring for each youth’s needs physiologically, emotionally, spiritually.

H2OO’s summits create the space for youth to come together from vastly diverse experiences and learn about real-world challenges, share their concerns and perspectives, and process solutions to mobilize as a global community of the next generation of leaders.

INSPIRING THE WORLD LEADERS OF TOMORROW
We inspire world leaders of tomorrow by connecting youth to one another and their natural environment while providing real-world education and empowerment skill-building that includes, most importantly, empathetic leadership. Diverse youth groups participate in collaborative problem-solving, each bringing in their life experiences and ways of processing to create new solutions for the world’s complex problems. They inspire and motivate one another to act, and they collaborate in advocating for all youth who are inheriting our Blue Planet.
Each of our unique programs are designed to create the opportunity for youth to:
Connect to one another in their natural environment (in-person or virtually)
Gain the skills and confidence necessary to cultivate real-world change while collaborating with a diverse group of their peers

H2OO Leader Charley spoke at the plenary of the UN Ocean Conference 2022 urging world leaders to allow youth a meaningful “seat at the table” in decisions that most affect them.

RAISE PREPARES SCIENCE-BACKED RESEARCH PAPER
H2OO youth-formed and youth-led initiative Regenerative Agriculture and Indigenous Systems for our Environment (RAISE) completes a 57-page research and advocacy paper to raise awareness regarding solutions to the climate, food, water, and social crises of industrial agriculture.

YOUTH AROUND THE WORLD CONVENE ON INTERSECTIONALITY ISSUES IN THE UN OCEAN DECADE
We hosted the world’s first youth summit for the UN Ocean Decade connecting youth virtually across 59 countries and occupied lands. Intersectionality issues were at the forefront. Hear directly from some of the youth who attended the summit.
H2OO is the only IOC-UNESCO Decade Implementation Partner (DIP) engaging youth 25 years and under.
